Sale Sharks have re-signed back row Magnus Lund from Biarritz.
Lund, 31, returns to the club where he made his professional debut in 2002, displaying skill that saw him earn 10 caps for England and win the Premiership in 2006.
He leaves the Basque region after six years and reunites with Steve Diamond.
“I am delighted Magnus has signed for us,” Sale boss Diamond said.
“I gave him his debut back in 2002 and have followed his career down the years. He is a great signing for us and will fit in perfectly with our plans.”
