British and Irish Lions duo Jonathan Davies and Alun Wyn Jones will make their Wales return on Sunday to face England at Twickenham in the fourth round of the Six nations
The Scarlets centre and the Ospreys lock are two of only three changes Warren Gatland made to the starting Xv that demolished France a fortnight ago in Cardiff.
Davies, who made his return for his region last week, is reunited with Jamie Roberts in the midfield while Jones recovered from the foot injury that forced him to withdraw from the France clash to start alongside Luke Charteris in the engine room.
With Davies back, Northampton‘s George North moves back to the left wing and Liam Williams drops to the bench.
Mike Phillips remains on the bench as the electric Rhys Webb is rewarded for is good display against Les Bleus and starts again at scrum-half.
“It’s great to have both Jon and Alun Wyn back and available and they come into a very experienced side,” said Gatland.
“Jon came through the match well at the weekend and he is ready to go. We were happy with the response and performance against France but we know we will have to raise it another level on Sunday.
“We are really looking forward to going up to Twickenham, England have performed well so far and its set up to be a great game with all to play for.”
