Bath face perhaps the toughest task of any club after losing the league’s outstanding front row in tight-head Thomas du Toit, whose move back to South Africa leaves an enormous hole in Johann van Graan’s pack.

Alfie Barbeary’s switch to Saracens is another significant departure after establishing himself as one of the league’s most destructive ball carriers, while Sam Harris, Will Butt and Chris Harris have also moved on.
