More than 500 former rugby union and rugby league players are fighting attempts by the sport’s governing bodies to have part of their landmark brain injury class action struck out in the High Court.
The wider legal action involves more than 1,100 former amateur and professional players bringing claims against World Rugby, the Rugby Football Union (RFU), the Welsh Rugby Union (WRU), the Rugby Football League (RFL) and the British Amateur Rugby League Association.
