Chris BrightwellMust feel great to win the big relegation battle against Plymouth?
Yes! We've known for a few weeks that it was going to come down to this game against Plymouth and to win it is amazing for the club.
How important was playing in front of your home fans?
It's always better to play such big games with home support. We really wanted to make the most of it rather than having to travel to Jersey next week desperate for a win.
How did Moseley end up fighting to avoid relegation?
It's small margins, really. Last year we managed to get a few good results early which helped us out massively but this season we couldn't capitalise on some opportunities like or Doncaster at home.
Enjoying captaining the side this season?
Yes, definitely. It's my second season at the club and I've enjoyed a leadership role. Results-wise it hasn't been the best season but off the pitch the club is going in the right direction.
When did you start playing rugby?
I was five years old when I started playing bare-foot rugby back in Hawkes Bay in .
Arrived in in 2008?
One of my mates back home told me Birmingham were looking for players so I thought it'd be good to do a bit of travelling and play rugby at the same time.
The start of something special?
It's been a pretty incredible journey, really. I got picked up by and ended up playing in the before playing for England on the circuit.
Sevens must have been good for travelling?
Yes it was great fun. I'd never really played the game but Ben Ryan's assistant, coach Russell Earnshaw, who was also working at Birmingham suggested I give Sevens a crack. I went for a trial tournament in Manchester and the next thing I knew I was in Dubai with England.
Thinking about life after rugby?
I've got one more year to do to complete my criminology and social science degree at the Open University. I started three years ago but it was tough to take my books with me when I was on the Sevens circuit. It's hard to study when you're on the Gold Coast.
Best memory in rugby?
Winning the 2013 Wellington Sevens with England in front of my friends and family was pretty special.
How do you chill out?
Coffee with the boys is a favourite but I also like a game of golf even if I'm not really good at it. I enjoy travelling around Europe when I'm not playing, too.
Tell us something we wouldn't know about Kevin Maggs?
He likes fishing and often camps out by the lake or wherever he's going on his own.
Played any other sport growing up?
It's hard to avoid rugby in New Zealand but I was keen on tennis growing up.
If you could be any sportsman?
Roger Federer for what he's done in tennis over the years.
Any good at cooking?
Not too bad. I'm trying to teach my wife how to cook. I try to be a bit creative in the kitchen but you can't beat a good roast.
Three special dinner guests?
Dwayne ‘The Rock' Johnson is a pretty cool character. Will Ferrell for his humour and Kate Beckinsale to have a girl in there.
What annoys you the most in life?
I'm a pretty laid back driver but bad drivers annoy me.
Best and worst banter at the club?
Worst is club captain Mike Powell who has old man banter. Sam Brown our half-back is funny with his more direct approach.
Best and worst dressed?
It must be a Welsh thing but Simon Gardiner and Mike Powell are pretty awful with their jeans and trainers. Scott Armstrong is looking good when he puts some efforts in.
