Fans set to return on May 17

Rugby have moved two fixtures in mid-May to a Monday night in the hope of having fans attend.

Falcons' v Saints and v have been switched to Monday, May 17.

Under the Government's Covid roadmap crowds of 50 per cent capacity up to a limit of 4,000 may be able to attend matches from that date.

Premiership Rugby will make decisions on more games at a later date.

The first rugby match to have a crowd in the British Isles in 2021 took place yesterday when dside Jersey Reds welcome 1,000 fans for their game with after approval from the island's government.
