MUNSTER copper-bottomed their lead at the top of Conference B as they bounced back from their first loss of the season to leave Connacht with a mountain to climb if they are to reach the PRO14 final.
Connacht got a late try from Peter Sullivan which Jack Carty converted from the touchline to snatch a bonus point and Munster, with Rory Scannell and Nick McCarthy in the bin, had to defend a frenetic late rally but they held on and are now 11 points clear at the top of the conference.
