London Irish have added former Ireland assistant coach Mark Tainton to their backroom staff.
The former Bristol fly-half joins as a skills and kicking coach having spent a decade at the IRFU, opting to leave last year.
Ronan O’Gara and Jonathan Sexton have worked under his tutelage and Tainton said he was ‘delighted’ to have joined the exiles.
“Everything is in place off the field to ensure the players and coaches can prosper. I look forward to working with Brian Smith and the rest of the coaching staff over the coming season.”
