Alex Cuthbert is expecting nothing less than a fierce battle at Twickenham when Wales take on England on Sunday.
In what could prove to be a winner-takes-all clash, Wales will turn up at HQ looking for a third consecutive wins over Stuart Lancaster's men in the Six Nations including last year's 30-3 at the Millennium.
That day, the Welsh dominated England up front to deprive them of a Grand Slam with winger Cuthbert making the best of two rare opportunities to score two tries in the second half.
“It will come down to very small margins. The battle up front and the kicking game will be crucial,” he told The Rugby Paper.
“We might not get a lot of chances so we'll have to make sure we make the most them when they come our way.
“George and I will be looking for work in the 10-12 channel to try and unlock the England defence. England are doing the same with Jonny May and Jack Nowell so it's going to be a great tactical battle.”
Wales' Six Nations hopes took a big blow when they were outclassed 26-3 by Ireland in the second round.
But following two torrid weeks, they've answered criticisms by dominating France27-6 and Cuthbert, who spoke from the Millennium Stadium where he was talking about research RBS has commissioned into the values of rugby, revealed the atmosphere in the camp was much better in the past two weeks.
“Maybe more on a physiological than physical point of view, the past couple of weeks have been totally different from the ones after the Ireland game,” he added.
“We didn't turn up to play in Dublin and that was the most disappointing thing really. But we managed to turn things around against France which was very pleasing.
“After us losing to Ireland and England losing to France it looked like it was going to be between France and Ireland for the trophy but the last round brought us and England back on track.
“It's a massive game on Sunday and we'll have to be sure we're prepared for whatever England throw at us.”
