The Archers started the game strongly, scoring an early try through former u20s and Academy player Benji Williams. Tom Cotton then scored two quick tries from the back of the maul to give Met the lead.

Crymych were able to open their lead to six points at the top of Division One West against second placed Aberystwyth. Yr Hendy picked up an important bonus point victory against Pembroke, who remain rooted to the bottom.

Elsewhere in Division One North, Caernarfon closed the gap on Nant Conwy's at the top to nine points, as they defeated Bethesda 29-22. Cobra moved into 5th with a 33-7 win against Dolgellau and Llangefni picked up a 40-13 win over Dinbych.

In the Division One Cup, Nant Conwy eased to a 24-0 victory against Pwllheli. A last gasp try from Joe Packer was enough for Dunvant to secure a 18-17 win at Ystrad Mynych to defeat last year's Plate winners Penallta 18-17, while St Joseph's beat Llandudno 26-17 away from home.
