FYLDE come out on top in 63-point thriller.

Fylde flew out of the blocks which saw Sam Carleton go over out wide in only the second minute. Greg Smith adding the extras.

Billingham were quick to respond when a deft cross-field kick was collect by Mike Whinn, who found Jonny Horner to cross the line.

Fylde regathered possession from the kickoff and Toby Harrison broke the line to run in from three metres.

Billingham kicked two penalties via Ryan Foreman, before Tom Carleton crossed for Fylde to make it 11-19 at half-time.

Fylde were quick to regather the ball from the restart. Fast hands, seeing Tom Burrow reach out to score.

As Billingham pressed, a loose pass found Jordan Dorrington, who ran in from 55 metres. Smith converted.

After 64 minutes, Sam Heron picked up the pace with a quick tap. It was Heron who darted from the base of a ruck to score. Foreman converted.

With the clock running down, Dorrington scored following a Smith chip over to score after 76 minutes. Smith converted. After 79 minutes, Billingham scored via Kieran Clark, who went over from three metres. Foreman converted.
