Macclesfield, Chester and Lymm have each been forced to play in National Two West in recent seasons due to an overcrowded North, meaning frequent trips all the way down to Cornwall from Cheshire.
Macc were initially allocated to rejoin National Two West next season, despite explaining to the RFU that this would be beyond the club’s means in terms of finances and travel requirements.
