A new URC is fast approaching, and it promises to be an exciting season.
Cardiff Rugby will be striving to build on their sixth-place finish last season.
They play an attractive brand of rugby that often delights a packed-out Arms Park.
Last season, Cardiff proved the most consistent of the four regions; it will be interesting to see how the team kick on.
Looking ahead, the bookmakers have provided some fascinating odds that highlight key goals for Corniel van Zyl’s side.

Last season
As noted, Cardiff finished sixth with 55 points last season. The Welsh club amassed 11 wins and seven defeats.
Cardiff were particularly strong at home, winning often in the Welsh capital.
Last season was a major milestone for the club, as they finished in the top eight and earned a place in the Champions Cup, proving they can compete with the best.
It should come as no surprise, given the talent in their ranks.
Callum Sheedy has been a vital part of Cardiff’s attack. The fly-half has tallied 64 points over the course of the season.
Players such as Cam Winnett, Jacob Bentham, and Mason Grady were lethal running threats.
In defence, Daniel Thomas was a rock, making 247 tackles and 16 turnovers; Alun Lawrence and Liam Belcher were also steadfast defenders.
They already have great players, but Cardiff have recruited strongly.

Key additions
An abundance of quality is arriving at the Arms Park for a new campaign.
Experienced Australian international Scott Sio will make the move from Exeter Chiefs.
Jarrod Evans will return home after a handful of seasons with the Harlequins; he will provide more depth at fly-half.
The likes of Tom Manz, Semisi Paea, and Le Roux Malan will also join the club. Ioan Emanuel will come into the fold on loan from Bath.
On paper, the squad is electric and could have a big season.
The odds
Looking at the odds, there are some interesting odds to explore.
Cardiff are the favourites to be the top region at 2/1 going off last season; there is value in this.
There is no doubt Cardiff will be in pursuit of the top eight and 13/8 odds reflect these goals.
What is fascinating is that for the bookmakers, eight wins seem to be the benchmark.
It looks like the team are favoured to go under eight wins. Cardiff will be out to prove them wrong and consistently win.
Cardiff built a solid foundation last season, and will look to delight the Arms Park fans with more success this season.
