Chris Johnson is ready to keep lacing up his boots at 39 but has warned his Heath side they must learn how to bounce back from defeats as they embark on their first-ever campaign in National Two North.

The Halifax side have enjoyed a remarkable rise through the divisions and stormed to the Regional One North East title last season, winning 21 of their 22 matches to earn a historic promotion.
However, player-coach Johnson knows life will be considerably tougher at level four and believes how his players respond to setbacks could define their debut campaign.
