SOME of Bristol’s grand old rugby men accompanied one of England’s most revered captains on his final journey, from the family farm to a country church by the Severn.
Mike Rafter, Alan Morley, Mike Fry, Austin Sheppard, John Doubleday and Peter Colston paid their last respects to John Pullin, a captain who refused to abandon England’s match in Dublin for security reasons.
