So, Bill Beaumont is calling for a game in unison where all clubs are happy and singing from the same song sheet which sadly it is not, and has not been the case now for a number of years.
In many ways the game has gone back to how it was before 1987 when leagues were introduced across the game in England.
This no longer allowed a few clubs regarding themselves as an elite group who thought they were at the top of the game, refusing fixtures against any clubs from outside.
