WINNING a place in the Varsity Day squad can be all consuming, but Oxford prop John Henry has been involved in something much bigger since the sides last mustered in December 2020.
Henry, an Ulsterman who has just qualified as a doctor after six years at Somerville College, was one of the backroom team working against the clock to develop the Oxford/ Astra Zenneca vaccine which along with Pfizer and Moderna vaccines has done so much to reduce the risk of Covid-19. Not just in Britain but for the world.
