Louw and Fotuali’i banned for two weeks

Francois Louw and Kahn Fotuali’i have both received two week bans after appearing before an RFU Disciplinary panel in Bristol on Tuesday night.
The pair were cited for separate incidences that occurred during the Aviva Premiership match between and on Saturday and are both free to play again on Tuesday 7th March.
Louw pleaded not guilty to tip tackling Quins scrum-half Charlie Mulchrone in the first-half but was found guilty by the panel.
In reference to Louw’s charge, the RFU Disciplinary panel said: “The panel found this was a dangerous tackle which merited a low-end entry point of two weeks.
“The panel could not reduce the sanction further in light of the fact the player denied any act of foul play had been committed.”
Man of the match Fotuali’i pleaded guilty to punching or striking Quins captain Dave Ward in the second-half of the match and also received a two-week ban.
