Yorkshire Carnegie sign Sale’s sacked winger

have signed winger Tom Arscott for the remainder of the season only a month after the wing was sacked by .
The 29-year-old saw his contract at the AJ Bell come to an early end after he leaked tactical information to his brother, full-back Luke, ahead of their encounter on January 1.
He joined up with his new team mates this week and is set to feature this Friday in the clash with Jersey Reds over in the Channel Islands.
He said, “It has been a tough few weeks but I am looking forward to letting my rugby do the talking for the remainder of the season.
“I have been made to feel really welcome by the Yorkshire lads and it has certainly helped that I knew quite a few of them from previous clubs.
“The Greene King IPA is a tough division and it has got stronger in recent years since I last played in it. The lads were disappointed with the defeat against last weekend but the talk is all about getting things back on track and challenging all the way until the end of the season.”
Head Coach Bryan Redpath added: “We are delighted to have secured a player of Tom's experience and quality for the remainder of the season. We have a number of options in the backline and Tom will certainly add to that.”
