Bennett, Strauss and Reid to leave Glasgow

have announced that Mark Bennett will join and Gordon Reid and Josh Strauss will leave the Warriors at the end of the season.
Centre Bennett has signed a three-year deal with Edinburgh until 2020 and has won 19 caps for .
The 24-year-old joined Glasgow from Auvergne in 2012 and has enjoyed five seasons at the Warriors.
Bennett was nominated for the 2015 Breakthrough Player of the Year after impressing in the Rugby , scoring three tries in four games and won a silver medal at the 2016 Olympics with Team GB in the .
Bennett said: “A key factor in my decision was that there's a young squad at Edinburgh, who are going in the right direction and I can feel like I can add to that.
“At 24 I think I could be one of the older boys in the Edinburgh backline, which would be a new experience for me, but one that I'm looking forward to next season.
“I've also worked with Duncan Hodge before as part of the Scotland set-up and I like his approach to the game as well, I think he is a very good coach and I'm looking forward to working with him again.
Acting Edinburgh Head Coach, Duncan Hodge, added: “We're delighted that Mark will be joining the club ahead of next season. It is great to welcome a young, Scottish international to the club.
“He's a phenomenal player, who has accomplished a lot both at club and international level at the age of just 24, and his experience will be a welcome addition to our backline.
“Having worked with Mark over a number of years, I know he is ambitious and motivated to develop his own game as well as providing leadership to those around him.
“This will be of huge benefit to the squad and we look forward to welcoming him here at Edinburgh.”
Scotland loosehead Reid will leave the Warriors after joining them in 2011, the 29-year-old made over 100 appearances for the club and also won 21 international caps.
South African No.8 Strauss qualified to play for Scotland  on residency since arriving from side the in 2012, he has made over 100 appearences for the Warriors and won 11 Test caps.
The destination of Reid and Strauss is still unknown.
Glasgow Head Coach said: “Although there is a lot of rugby still to be played this season, I'd like to acknowledge and thank Gordy, Josh and Mark's invaluable contributions since they joined the club.
“We look forward to them ending their time at the Warriors with the same commitment and skill they have shown already this season and wish them well in the next stages of their careers.”
