Sale Sharks sign Tongan No.8

As expected, Sale Sharks have completed the signing of Tongan international Viliami Fihaki on a three-year contract.
Neil Fissler revealed in The Rugby Paper the move from the North Harbour No.8 was on the cards on October 20.
Director of Rugby Steve Diamond said: “Vilaimi’s a really good ball carrier. He could have delayed coming here and gone with Tonga on their current Autumn tour of Europe but instead he’s joined up with us straight away which is a great boost for us.”
“We had been looking for another back row player all summer and we identified Viliami playing over in New Zealand for North Harbour in the ITM Cup and he comes highly-recommended from our contacts over there.”
