Q: The Nations Championship has come around quickly. What are your thoughts on Scotland heading into it after a mixed Six Nations?
I think it’s the first time in a long time that Scotland have gone into a summer tour playing the really big nations. Normally we’d travel to the smaller Tier Two nations, so this is a different challenge altogether. It’s also a really important year with the World Cup getting closer. The Six Nations was mixed, so this campaign is about proving ourselves. It’s a proper tour against top opposition and I think it’s exactly the sort of challenge Scotland need.
