TJS shook off any rust created by last week’s postponed game, flying into the lead after just three minutes through right winger Sam Blade as they looked to consolidate their position at the top of National 2 East.
But Worthing hit back immediately when prop Ben Featherstone burrowed over from close range to level.
TJs quickly re-established their, however, when a flowing move created space for Howard Packman to offload to Shadyn Osgood who crashed over.
