Dejected: Ian Madigan after his late misses cost Bristol the win

THREE missed kicks in the dying stages saw a dramatic finale end in a draw at Ashton Gate.
First up was Bristol flyhalf Ian Madigan, whose 50m wide-angled shot sailed just wide. Minutes later Sale skipper, Jono Ross, was sin-binned for a dangerous clear-out but Madigan was again offtarget despite it being a slightly easier chance.
