Kent are seen as an ‘unfashionable county’ with zero of their clubs represented inside the top three tiers of English rugby but title winning head coach Taff Gwilliam hailed his comeback kings who ended their side’s 96-year County Cup drought.
Gwilliam’s men had a difficult run to the final as they battled through a tough Division 1 South by edging Hampshire 20-15, beat Somerset 43-7 and narrowly saw off Cornwall 34-31.
