Leicester Lions captain Ethan Godefroy admits this season has been one of the toughest of his career, but believes the club can take pride in how they have competed at National One level.

Relegation back to National Two has been confirmed, yet Godefroy insists the campaign should be viewed in the context of the club’s rapid rise and the challenges of stepping up to the third tier.
