The Wallabies are doing a counter-attack raid on rugby league Down Under ahead of the 2027 World Cup, which could see them field almost an entire backline of recent NRL stars in the tournament.

The biggest signing is Angus Crichton, who was a starter for the Kangaroos in all three Tests of their autumn series whitewash of England.
Crichton, who scored two tries in their 26-6 first Test victory at Wembley, was impressive in scoring the first after a 35m break.
At 6ft 2ins and just over 16 stone, Crichton is a handful in league, having played in the NRL for ten seasons, mainly at second row.
