Maro Itoje was a relieved man as he reflected on the Lions series win in Australia because he knew it might his last chance at it.
The captain had hit the post on his previous two tours, drawing with New Zealand in 2017 and going down to a Morne Steyn penalty at the death in the decider in South Africa four years ago.
His side had this one wrapped up after the second Test 29-26 win in Melbourne and Itoje savoured the moment because it might never come again.
