No, rugby is not coming to an end. This Lions tour posed significant challenges to both teams, it was just the Lions who handled it with better grace

THE 2021 Lions tour of South Africa should not be measured too harshly, mainly because of the extraordinary Covid-battered conditions in which it has taken place, with neither team properly prepared for the three-Test series.
The Second Test was a dire spectacle, but some of the apocalyptic ‘end of the Rugby Union is nigh’ commentary it generated has been a long way wide of the mark, and also shows a poor grasp of Lions history.
