KATIE MASON’S hat-trick helped Wasps put on a show of strength prior to their semi-final against Harlequins.
Welcoming back their England trio of Claudia MacDonald, Abby Dow and Ellie Kildunne, the Wasps backline was too hot to handle for Bristol, the Premier 15s second leakiest defence.
Mason gave the hosts the lead on three minutes as the ball was worked from right to left quickly by Flo Williams and Kildunne to Mason, free on the left wing, to run in the try.
