Falcons hit turbos to see off England hopefuls

A NEWCASTLE Falcons XV defeated England U20s 43-22 in a free-flowing encounter at Kingston Park stadium on Friday.
Falcons led 19-17 at halftime and powered away in the closing stages.
Newcastle dominated the early exchanges and opened the scoring when hooker Robbie Smith dotted down from a catchand-drive in the left corner. Last season’s England U20s fly-half Will Haydon- Wood converted from wide out.
