Senior Dragons reluctant to agree pay-cuts

THE DRAGONS are set to make a proposal to their players over permanent pay cuts this week. All four Welsh regions have been forced to negotiate with their squads on an individual basis after collective talks between the Welsh Rugby Players’ Association and the Welsh Rugby Union’s Professional Rugby Board broke down.
The Scarlets have since completed their negotiations and 17 players have signed new deals. Those players still in contract have also agreed new terms. Now Dragons, Cardiff Blues and Ospreys hope to follow suit with the Dragons understood to be the furthest from final...
