Room 101

Room 101: James Hook – Gloucester fly-half

James Hook1. Overflowing bins
Like most blokes I’m normally the one designated to do the bins at home and I just wish our wheelie bin could be bottomless because it always seems to be full to nearly overflowing. The council where I live refuse to take away any spare bin bags left on top or at the side so I normally find myself taking extra trips down to the local tip. It’s amazing how much waste a family of four accumulates.
TRP verdict: I don’t know, we’ll put any old rubbish in Room 101!
2. Hartpury wind
have excellent training facilities at Hartpury College, I just wish that the place wasn’t so windy! It’s in a rural area up on a hill and on a sunny day you won’t find a more idyllic spot. However, for six out of the seven days of the week you’re guaranteed to be training in gale force winds, which is especially bad for kickers.
TRP verdict: This Room 101 lark’s a breeze isn’t it!
3. Sky+ fails
It really annoys me when you get home and sit down to watch one of your favourite shows only to find that the Sky+ recording has clashed with something else and not worked. I’ve got to admit that Big Brother is a guilty pleasure of mine and I do look forward to watching that! With having little ones most of the disc space is taken up with Peppa Pig episodes and Disney stuff.
TRP verdict: On the plus side, that’s 3 out of 3.
