Room 101

Room 101: Dwayne Peel – Bristol scrum-half

Dwayne Peel1. Fly Tipping
The countryside is something to be respected not used as a dumping ground for lazy people. No-one wants to see old fridges and piles of rubbish discarded, seemingly without a care in the world, when they go out for a walk or are driving down a country lane.
TRP verdict: Your trash talk wins the day, welcome into .
2. Snakes
I think I get my fear of snakes from my mother who’s scared to death of them. I can’t stand being anywhere near them, not even in a zoo. So you can imagine my horror when an eight-foot one came flying across the road out of nowhere while me and the wife were on honeymoon in Bali. It was near our accommodation and I don’t think I slept that night!
TRP verdict: Is it safe to assume you’re not a fan of Monty Python then? We’ll adder this to the list.
3. Rubber-necking
The commute between my home in west and should take around an hour and a quarter but you can often add a fair amount of time onto that because of delays. Sometimes they seem completely needless, like people rubber-necking to look at an accident on the other carriageway. Why do people do that? It’s drives me mad when you come to a halt for no apparent reason and then, without warning, the traffic miraculously clears and you’re on your way again.
TRP verdict: There’s definitely no place for nosey parkers in this world.
