International caps must have value

WHY do some coaches persist in devaluing international caps?
Head coach Steve Borthwick brought on three players for the last minute of last weekend’s game against Wales – to what end?
England couldn’t lose in the last minute as they were 10 points clear so they didn’t influence the game nor were the three players they replaced injured so what was the point? I don’t believe Henry Arundell, Jack Walker and Marcus Smith will feel like they earnt their most recent caps.
