Allowing Wasps move reflects badly on RFU

SEVERAL years ago, Wasps relocated to Coventry, thereby sabotaging any hopes which Coventry rugby club may have had about reaching the Premiership. Even if the ring-fence is rescinded, Coventry is not big enough to sustain two Premiership clubs. Wasps have now gone belly up, so the RFU’s decision to allow a Premiership club to relocate to a different area purely to suit their own selfish ends, regardless of the consequences to clubs already in that area, has blown back in their faces.
