AUSTRALIA stunned South Africa 42-38 in Perth last Sunday despite being reduced to 11 men during the second half.
The Wallabies scored five tries against the back-to-back World Cup winners to lead by 25 points with 16 minutes left.
But four yellow cards in nine minutes left the hosts overrun, with South Africa – who made 13 changes from the side that beat New Zealand in Baltimore - mounting a comeback that fell just short.
Former Exeter centre Len Ikitau scored the first two tries for Australia with wing Edwill van der Merwe hitting back for the Springboks.
