FIJI have sacked coach Ben Gollings less than a month before the Hong Kong Sevens, with former captain and Olympic gold medallist Osea Kolinisau taking charge. Fiji have not won a tournament in the World Series in 19 outings, and they lost to Spain in the quarter-finals in LA. Gollings, 43, was appointed Fiji coach in December 2021. He is the career leader in points scored on the World Sevens Series with 2,652.
