Tom Arscott will leave Premiership strugglers London Welsh at the end of the season to join their closest rivals in the relegation battle Sale, it was announced today.
The 25-year-old full-back, who previously played for Worcester, Bristol and Plymouth Albion, has been a regular for the Exiles in their inaugural season in the Premiership making 23 appearances and scoring four tries.
Director of Rugby Steve Diamond said, “ Tom is an exciting player who can play both Full Back and Wing. He played in both the games against us this season and I was very impressed with him and am sure he will be a great asset to us.”
Commenting on Arscott’s departure, London Welsh head coach Lyn Jones said: “Tom leaves London Welsh with the blessing of the club – he’s been a good addition to our squad this season.
“I hope he finds happiness at his new club and we wish him every success in the future.”
