Blues swoop to capture Wells

BEDFORD have signed Leicester lock Harry Wells on a player-coach deal for next season. The 32-year-old, left, who will leave Tigers after 13 seasons and more than 200 appearances, returns to Goldington Road for a second spell having played more than 50 games for Bedford earlier in his career.
Cornish Pirates have signed Exeter No.9 Will Becconsall on a permanent deal after two loan spells at Mennaye Field. The 23-year-old made more than 20 appearances for Chiefs and featured 13 times for Pirates.
