Rory Hutchinson has been one of Northampton Saints’ top performers this season having been told not to lose weight when on holiday.

Most players tend to pile on the pounds when they take a break after the end of a campaign, but Scotland centre Hutchinson tended to return to pre-season lighter.
“Rory struggles to keep weight on while on holiday, and I told him this year that if he came back light he would never go away again,” said Phil Dowson, below, Northampton’s director of rugby.
“Forwards usually come back bigger and I have threatened them as well!
