Scotland's South African-born prop Pierre Schoeman is obviously eyeing a job after rugby with the Western Australian tourist board.
Quizzed about Perth by an Aussie TV crew after Tuesday’s training session at Hale School, Schoeman said: “We love Perth. We have a nice guy of some good info on the bus. Perth is actually from the Scotland Perth town.
"That’s why it’s been named Perth. We know some great stats – it’s the most isolated city in the world. It’s closer to Jakarta than it is to any other city in Australia. And also, it was massive for gold mining. We know all about Perth now.”
