AJ MacGinty: Expect big hitters at No.10

AJ MacGinty was not surprised at the Premiership salary cap report’s revelation that outside-halves are the highest earners in the league.

But the Bristol and United States 10 did not expect the average pay for a fly-half to be nearly double that of a scrum-half.
The report, which covered last season when Owen Farrell was at Saracens, showed that the mean average salary for an outside-half was £231,182, considerably more than the £119,614 for a scrum-half.
