AT LONG last a win for England outplaying the French, although a game yet again so full of errors you would have thought you were watching rank amateurs rather than elite professionals. That said, England certainly did pull the cat out of the bag quicker and with more certainty in the dying minutes of the game than they have had in any of the recent games against top opposition that have all ended in defeat.
