PAT Lam is looking to add an outside-half to Bristol’s squad with only one fit 10 on the books.
AJ MacGinty will be out for at least another couple of months, Sam Worsley suffered a finger tendon injury last weekend that requires surgery and a back up in the position, James Williams, broke a finger against Treviso the day after and will be out for six weeks.
“Harry Byrne is our only outside-half currently available with four injured and had we not signed him on loan from Leinster we would be in massive trouble,” said Lam, Bristol’s director of rugby.
