Moody Jnr wins first cap… in soccer

ON THE BLIND SIDE

DYLAN Moody has followed in the footsteps of his famous father, former , and flanker Lewis, in winning his first international cap.

But unlike Lewis, it’s not in rugby that he is trying to make his name. Instead, it’s as a goalkeeper with the Southampton academy, and he has been capped by England U16 at the Val-de-Marne Tournament.

Moody, who plays for the Southampton U18 side, is the second son of a 2003 winner to look to make a career in football with Neil Back’s son Fin on loan at Carlisle United from Forest.
