HULL RUFC have appointed a new coaching team led by Mike Umaga after coach Gary Pearce stepped down after seven years in charge. Former Samoan international Umaga, the father of former Wasps fly-half Jacob, joins Hull as their new director of rugby after finishing his post as DOR at Bishop Burton. Umaga is joined by former Taranaki player Tony Penn as his assistant.
