Richmond boss fears excessive dual reg system will spell doom

STEVE Hill has called for the number of dual registration and loan players Championship clubs are allowed to sign from Premiership sides to be slashed, fearing that otherwise the second flight will become nothing more than an alternative A-league.
Richmond’s director of rugby is concerned at the number of Championship clubs who no longer run second or third teams and warns that they are in danger of losing their identity because they are allowed to field 13 Premiership players in their starting line-ups.
