Thomas: Ted Hill was kicked in face

JONATHAN Thomas claimed Ted Hill was kicked in the face before the flanker responded with a tip-tackle on Lloyd Evans which got the Worcester man sent off.
England flanker and Worcester co-captain Hill’s miserable afternoon ended in despair as he strolled off the field at the end of the defeat by Gloucester but head coach Thomas said: “I will have to look at it again to make judgement but Ted’s been kicked in the face beforehand. I think there has to be mitigation involved.”
But Thomas admitted his side were second best on the day, saying: “It was a very typical derby game... a game of chess...
