Carry on, Eddie but problems remain for RFU

WELL, the inquiry has taken place, the excuses made and, quite rightly, Eddie Jones has been cleared to carry on.
One small issue could be that he will now face reviews of the team’s performance by ‘external rugby experts’ after each campaign, which, given Jones’ character, may cause some friction whatever happens.
For me, the most worrying comments to come out of the review were not concerning Jones but the part which said the RFU is planning to ‘deepen its alignment’ with the English professional clubs.
